This is a WEEKEND-LONG, single elimination tournament. While we do try to accomodate a limited # of first-round requests we do not guarantee that anything else you schedule for this weekend won't overlap.

This is a team tournament, open to the Division Cup Winners as well as teams that are granted entry based on their end-of-session standings. The APA-West Georgia singles regionals are being held this weekend, the APA-Atlanta singles regionals will be the next weekend, Oct 10-11.

The invitations for the Top Dawg tournament were mailed Friday morning Sept 25th. Many many folks had already received them by Saturday.

If you believe you should have been on the list and invited and did not get your invitation, please contact our office. We do not follow the mailing with phone calls.

Keep in mind that most of the people who call to see if they are on the list are not on the list. We only invite the top player in each division in win percent, and the top player in each division in performance points. And in some divisions that's the same player.

For those who got their invitation and have already mislaid it here's the scoop:
This tournament is by invitation only, but the invitees do not need to pre-register--the draw will be done on-site.

Where: Cue's Billiars in Marietta (the old Side Pockets)
When: Sunday, October 4th

Since everyone was clamoring for this tournament, including myself, let me tell everyone that the first Big Dawg tournament was great! It was a good format and I think everyone had a good time. My suggestion for what it's worth Woodster, is to keep this an "elite" tournament, and limit it to the same qualifications as this time.

We (the office) only know of TWO players whose invitations must be resent because they moved and hadn't told us yet. Everyone else should have received their invitations already.

If you have not received an invitation and believe this may be in error, please contact our office directly and we will answer your query on a one-to-one basis.
