Great looking site, Good info, looks like it is updated often.
Loads pages a little slow, might just be the hosting site.

The information on the website is updated at the end of the day. We have had TWO DAYS SO FAR where we could not do that, due to technical issues.
In-house divisions are done on a totally different schedule than travel divisions. Travel divisions are printed and mailed out 2 business days before they play (i.e. Mondays are mailed on Thursdays, Wednesdays are mailed on Mondays). Sheets are sometimes scored in the computer before those days.
For example, I have a Wednesday travel division that usually arrives in the mail on Fridays. If I have the whole division already, I may go ahead and put it all in and just wait til Monday to print it. If that's the case, the POINTS will be updated Friday night.
SKILL LEVELS ARE NOT UPDATED UNTIL THE DIVISION IS PRINTED.

Great website design, very professional and functional. The stats are awesome and I think this will really expand the entire league... I've already noticed teams pulling out the laptops during matches

big dawg scores make zero sense. also, events south of I-20 do happen, how about covering a small amount of news pertaining to the division leaders on the south side?

If you read the Big Dawg definition you'll realize how it's different from ... I forget the other one--there are 2 ways to be "ranked" within your division.
One is by win percentage, the other is by who you beat (skill levels).
Several people have asked about this and don't realize that the definitions of each of those are on those pages. Unfortunately our internet is set up according to, I believe, European computer pages, that's why we have to scroll up and down so much. That's how it was explained to me, anyway.
As to news from south of I-20--we'd LOVE to have more input from y'all--put your bar tournaments up, that forum is open to all y'all, not just our office. (Matter of fact the Host Locations Hosting Tournaments is, I believe, 100% player NOT OFFICE listings.) |

Excellent and very professional site
One request. The access to the site is blocked if trying to acces it from outside the USA. Is these by design? can it be open for people that have to temporarily work out of the USA and still want to find out how the team is doing?

Sadly we've had numerous DoS attacks all originating from foreign IPs. Many of them have been denied access to the server over time as we don't have many who use and visit the site from over seas. It was a pro vs con decision to block them. Far more idiots originating from those IPs than people in China looking for an APA team in Atlanta.
If you have a static IP (or small netblock) I may be able to make adjustments but if it's dynamic there isn't much I can do. The solution would be to use an IP proxy like hidemyass.com or proxify.com to change your IP.
Please feel free to email me the IPs in question and I'll let you know if I can help. |
